With inflation up and the economy uncertain, Home Suite Hope (HSH) has been challenged like other non-profits in connecting with corporate sponsors. Many businesses seek to support the community through engagement projects.
HSH welcomes all involvement and while we have many sponsorship opportunities, we also have many engagement opportunities.

Dressed for Success
Help HSH participants make a lasting impression at work by hosting a business clothing drive at your workplace. Foster confidence, inspire self-belief, and enhance career opportunities for HSH participants by donating high-quality, stylish attire appropriate for business settings.
Household Cleaning Supplies
Host a drive/contest at your office to help HSH single moms mitigate one of the most expensive parts of a grocery bill – cleaning products. These can include laundry detergent, fabric softener, toilet bowl cleaners, recycling bags, glass cleaners and all-purpose cleaning products.
Period Poverty Campaign
Feminine hygiene products are an essential and costly necessity for our participants and their daughters. We collect donations of tampons and pads which are kept on-hand in our office for pick up as needed.
Birthday Gifts Campaign
Promote inclusion and allow every child to experience the joy of receiving a gift or taking a gift to that friend's birthday party they've been invited to. As a single mom, when birthday invites come home, the stress of finding money for a birthday gift arises. We provide a locker filled with gifts where moms can bring their children to choose a gift for their friend. We can also help moms on their child's special day.
Blueberry Fields Community Garden
Grab your gardening gloves and head to Upper Oakville Shopping Centre’s community garden — Blueberry Fields! Each year volunteers from the community dig in to help plant, grow and harvest fruits and vegetables which are then made available to our participants and the broader community through Kerr Street Mission.
Bowl Painting Parties
Purchase and paint bowls for HSH’s annual Empty Bowls event. This popular event is HSH's signature fundraiser in support of our programs. Bowls are painted at Crack Pot Studio and donated back to Home Suite Hope. Event attendees can purchase a ticket not just for soup tasting but also take home a souvenir bowl from the event.

Sponsor a Holiday Wish List
Bring the joy of the holiday season to HSH families. Support our annual Hope 4 Holidays campaign by sponsoring a family... this means shopping and donating the items on a holiday wish list of each parent and child.
Holiday Gift Card Collection
Hosting a holiday party? Why not ask guests to bring a gift card to support Home Suite Hope instead of bringing a host gift? Or ask your staff to bring a gift card as admission to the holiday party.
Unite for a Cause by Gift Wrapping
Bring your team together in ‘Santa’s Workshop’ to bring smiles to families in need during the holiday season by helping to wrap the generous gifts that are donated for our families.

Corporate Donations
If in-kind donations are a way you could support HSH, we are seeking prize donations for our fundraising events. These gifts help us raise important funds in support of our single parents’ programming.
Please reach out if any of the following are potential donations you could make: spa packages, hotel stays, Airbnb stays, luxury purses, tickets to sporting events (Leafs, Raptors, Blue Jays games), shopping sprees (gift cards for Lululemon, Tilley's, etc.), dining experience at restaurants, wine basket, earring styling experience, a round of golf, colour analysis or others.

Sponsor an Event - or part of an Event
And for corporates interested in event sponsorship, there are lots of choices – sponsorship of an event or just one part of an event.
Our upcoming spring Luxury Bingo will be the second edition of this popular new fundraiser and there are many ways to get involved, such as sponsorship of food or drinks, Bingo daubers, a 'Next Round’s on Us' feature or prizes.
The Rotary Oakville’s Golf to Give next September welcomes Gold, Silver, Welcome Desk, Prize Table, Photographer, Putting Green, Cart, Dinner, Lunch, Closest to the Pin, Beat the Pro, Swag Bag and of course, hole sponsors. As this event is in support of HSH, contact info@rotaryoakville.ca.

Partners in Change
Our Partners in Change offers annual or multi-year direct sponsorships of families in our programming that provides housing, education and employment. In this effort, we face an approximate $9,595 annual funding gap for each family. Funding from a variety of sources (none of which are government but donations) combine to help cover the $51,279 annual cost of supporting a single parent-led family as the parent moves through education to employment however, that funding falls short by the nearly $10,000 gap annually.
And, with housing costs skyrocketing, we also now face an annual cost of $14,400 annually to house a family.
Through our Partners in Change program, you can sponsor a family or their housing costs, or both. Sponsorships can continue across a participant’s four-year journey or just one year.
